Becca wins African Female Artiste of the Year at NEA 2017

The 12th edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Awards (NEA) was held on Saturday at the Symphony Space Center in New York and as expected was lit.
Acts like Davido, Olamide, Seyi Shay, DJ Self, Young Paris, Barbee, Gbenro Ajibade, Dremo, Korto Davies, Sheyman, ID Cabasa, DJ Enimoney, Danagog, Dotman and many others were at the event.

The 15th African Traditional herbal Celebration was held in eastern region from the 21st to 23rd November 2017. This year's celebration was attended by hundreds of traditional medicine practitioners from all over the country including sister associations from Togo and Chinese medical team. The 3 day ceremony included a medical screening exercise on the first day for various communities, scientific section on the second day which saw various presentations on indigenous medicinal plants used in treatment of various diseases. The all-black chickens, nicknamed the ‘Lamborghini of Poultry’ is the most expensive chicken in the world.The chicken is named after a village (Cemani) in central Java. Their beak and tongue, black comb and wattles; even their meat, bones and organs appear black. The blood of the Ayam Cemani, however, is normally coloured. The birds' black colour occurs as a result of excess pigmentation of the tissues, caused by a genetic condition known as fibromelanosis and is also characteristic of Chinese Silkies, a black chicken treasured across China. Collectors covet this bird because it's beautiful, exotic and hard-to-get. The roosters weigh 2–2.5 kg and the hens from 1.5–2 kg. The hens lay cream-coloured eggs with a slight pink tint. In the past individual birds in the United States of America have been priced at $2500.
